He is passionate about Zydeco music, which is often performed acoustically with an accordion or fiddle and sung in French, and it’s rich history from Louisiana where it was born.

Doc and the Scrubs is a big band based out of Detroit Lakes that was founded in 1991 by Dr. Bob Watson, and is comprised of area musicians, from ages 20 to over 80. The performance is free, though free will donations are accepted. Performances are each Tuesday from June to August.
