Join us for the Annual Lakes Curling Club Sunlite Doubles Bonspiel on December 10-12, 2021. The Sunlite Doubles Bonspiel is an event hosted by the Lakes Curling Club in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota in December each year. The Sunlite Doubles Bonspiel will follow World Curling Federation doubles rules. Open to all entrants (2 genders not required).
- $120.00 (U.S.) per Team
- Cash Prizes for Each Event.
- FREE $10.00 Meal Ticket for Each Participant.
- Champions’s entry fee will be paid for at the next year’s Bonspiel.

The Sunlite Doubles Bonspiel is a large curling tournament that attracts top teams from across the region. There is a very festive atmosphere in the clubhouse. If you’ve never seen curling or are interested in the sport, come out and watch for a while, even if you’re not playing! There is no fee to watch the bonspiel and spectators are always welcome!

About Lakes Curling Club
The Lakes Curling Club provides recreational opportunities for all curlers. Dedicated to the promotion and the coordination of the sport of curling to provide fun, fellowship and family activities within Detroit Lakes and surrounding communities. The Club was founded in March 25, 1980, starting with thirty Charter Members, which included Officers and Board of Directors. The Club sponsors leagues that compete three times weekly, several bonspeils (curling tournaments), Community Ed Classes, and other special events that include Youth Curling Lakes Curling Club website.
