It was the best pedicure I've ever had, and lasted the longer than any other I've had. Honestly, it was still perfect (no chips) after a week on the beach for our honeymoon! In a nutshell for me, it really was one of the most relaxing hotel stays I've ever had. They have luxury without being pretentious. “We spent the 16th-19th of August for my son’s wedding. I truly cannot say enough good things about The Lodge. Jim was there to help out with anything and everything! The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were very nice and very helpful. The wedding took place on the beach at The Lodge and it was amazing. Of course it did help that the weather fully cooperated! We had many family and friends spend the weekend and it sure was nice not to hear any complaining about where we all stayed, only compliments! If you have time make sure to take advantage of The Spa, that too is amazing! Thank you Jim and staff for helping make Jesse and Sara’s wedding weekend very memorable. We will for sure be back!!”

The Lodge was so wonderful to work with us in advance to reserve blocks of room for our out of town guests. They were great to work with and communication for all of the plans such as welcome bags, room assignments, and all other little details that come up with weddings! The staff at the Lodge is beyond welcoming and friendly which was so wonderful as many of our guests first stop in Detroit Lakes was the Lodge – they were treated to Minnesota nice from the beginning of their trip throughout the entire stay! ”
