2025 Oktoberfest Festival Downtown Detroit Lakes
Oktoberfest Festival Returns to Downtown Detroit Lakes on September 20, 2025. The spirit of Bavaria is coming to the heart of Minnesota as the Detroit Lakes Noon Rotary presents the annual Oktoberfest DL on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This lively celebration will be centered at Zorbaz on the Lake, but the festivities will spill out into the surrounding streets and Peoples Park, transforming downtown Detroit Lakes into a vibrant hub of music, food, games, and community fun.
All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit our community through Rotary projects and donations such as Dollars for Scholars, United Way, youth leadership training, community health programs, and more.
Location & Atmosphere
While Zorbaz serves as the main venue, the event expands into Holmes Street, the People’s Park and adjacent areas, creating a street festival atmosphere. Expect bustling vendor booths, beer gardens, and entertainment stages stretching into Peoples Park, offering plenty of space for families and friends to gather and celebrate.

Get your Tickets!
Join us at Zorbaz & People’s Park for music, games, food , bier, pretzels as big as your face and root beer floats for the kids. Non alcoholic beverages will also be available . New this year are the mile long bier run, Oktoberfest Market and reserved tables catered by Spanky’s Stone Hearth. If you purchase your tickets online you will be able to redeem at the Oktoberfest Booth located on the north side of Zorbaz and on the southside of People’s Street. You won’t be able to miss it!
Online ticket sales end at 7am CST Saturday, on event day. If you purchase your tickets online, give a friendly, “BAVARIAN ROTARIAN your name at the booth. Tickets may be purchased at the booth as well at noon on Saturday at the event.
