Enjoy the country-rock music of Matt Aakre & The Dirty Little Secret at the Detroit Lakes City Park Bandshell, 1361 Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, MN on the evening of July 28, 2022. Matt Aakre & The Dirty Little Secre are a group of musicians from the Fargo area that essentially started back in 2001, then known as 32 Below. After 5 albums and 10+ years together, the original members all departed from 32 Below for personal and professional reasons. After years of not playing together, the original members are back together.
The members of Matt Aakre and the Dirty Little Secret (MADLS) are Matt Aakre, Nathan Stang, Derek Lien, and Ryan Schmoll (core group) with Ty Taylor and Jeb Reinhiller making special appearances from time to time. Primarily a country-rock group, MADLS plays everything from hard rock, classic country to their own originals that people have come to love.

Enjoy an evening in the park listening to music and enjoying fabulous foods! The concerts are free! Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Food trucks will be serving a variety of food, wine, beer, and desserts! This event is brought to you by DL Noon Rotary Club, the Holmes Theatre, and Anonymous donor, and the Lake Region Arts Council. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be cancelled.
