Lida Greens Golf Course was designed and built by Jack Hilber, a member of the North Dakota Golf Hall of Fame. The course is located 4 miles east of Pelican Rapids, MN on the Southwest Shore of Lake Lida. Ther nine hole executive course was built to take advantage of the natural lay and hazards of the land and several greens and tees provide a spectacular view of Lake Lida. Open for golf seven days a week from sunup to sundown except during lightning conditions. Season opens in early May and ends in mid October.

Green Valley Golf Course, opened in 1964, is a 9 hole, par 35 golf course in Lake Park, Minnesota. Men’s tees are 2,800 yards and Ladies tees total 2,300 yards. Closest to mountainous golf in CREA. Water is in play on five holes. Three sets of tees. Green Valley Golf Course is a challenge for all golf levels. Located 6 miles south of Lake Park; 1 mile northwest of Big Cormorant Lake.

The original name for the course was “Green Valley Golf Course”. This golf course was built by James Plourde Sr., and his son Henry Plourde. James, with the influence of his management team out of
Massachusetts and a couple of locals convinced Mr. Plourde that golf was going to be the next big thing in sports and he should convert his field into a golf course. They went to work in 1963 to build the course. In 1964 the little nine hole golf course was opened. Since opening, they converted one of the easiest Par 4’s into the toughest par 4 in the state, Hole No. 5.

Established in 1946, Perham Lakeside Country Club is located one mile north of Perham, Minnesota, offering 27 holes of championship golf and a first class practice facility. Perham Lakeside Country Club consists of three nine-hole courses, Maple, Oak, and Pine, each with distinctive and challenging holes that offer something for players of all skill levels. These courses boast beautiful fairways, scenic natural wetlands and flowing elevation changes, ending in spectacular approaches to our well-manicured greens. The greens are fast, and the fairways are narrow. There are many trees that can alter your shots as well as numerous sand bunkers incorporated into the course’s design. Rolling Hills Golf Course is a challenging par 35 public golf course that has plenty of water holes and sand traps. From the moment you set foot on the Wildflower Golf Course, you will realize this is a special place to play the game of golf. Designed by Joel Goldstrand, one of the premier golf course architects in the Midwest, the course’s distinctive “Prairie Links” design is unique in Minnesota. Players may see the open prairie as a chance to “let’r fly”, but beware of Wildflower Golf Course’s 86 bunkers and vast expanses of prairie grass, which are difficult challenges at best. A course rating of 74.2 and a Slope rating of 139 from the “tips” ranks Wildflower among the State’s most challenging courses. Designed with four sets of bent grass tees, the course promises all levels a truly enjoyable experience.

PRACTICE: The full amenity practice range is second to none in the area. One can utilize the recently expanded practice chipping green surrounded by mature oak trees, sharpen their putting on the practice green located adjacent to the clubhouse, or practice their full swing attempting to hit the backside of the 350 yard range. The practice range is expansive enough to accommodate over 25 players at one time.

PLAY: This par 72, 18-hole course features over 7,000 yards of lush fairways, five sets of tee boxes, and a challenging, yet rewarding amount of sand and native prairie grasses, guaranteeing a memorable and enjoyable track for players of all skill levels.

Wildflower Golf Course is located 15 minutes south of Detroit Lakes, 45 minutes east of the Fargo-Moorhead area, and just three hours northwest of the Twin Cities.

Lakeview Golf Course is unique 18 hole course that was opened in 1980. It is part of the Detroit Country Club. The Lakeview Course plays to par of 31-33-64, with nine par three holes, eight par four holes, and a closing par five. The picturesque course features large greens, with traps bordering all 18 holes. The golfer is offered some spectacular views, especially from the tee area (situated at the highest point on the two courses) at the 7th hole. While the yardage may appear to be short, the course is deceptively difficult. Course record is 57, set in 1999.

A newly expanded and remodeled clubhouse, driving range, practice area and putting green are all part of the Lakeview Golf Course Complex. Lakeview is a great facility for corporate outings, church potlucks and any small golf outing. Lakeview is very golf friendly.

Maple Hills Golf Club is located in the heart of the Lakes Country in an area where gently rolling hills and beautiful maple trees blend together creating one of the most beautiful golf courses in Northern Minnesota. Rock ‘n Waters Extreme Mini Golf

Whether you’re looking to have fun, or wish to celebrate a special event through an activity, the Rock ‘n Waters mini golf course is sure to please. Each hole is fun to play. There is a water fall in the center of the course which is fun to watch. There are rivers that if you get your ball in, will bring it to a pond that you can use the net to get it out. Completed in 1916, the Pine to Palm course is one of Minnesota’s finest resort area layouts. The rolling terrain and trees which line each fairway make the Pine to Palm Course (par is 36-35-71) a challenging test of golf. The course record is 59, set in 2013 by Josh Persons.

One of Minnesota’s three “Resort Circuit” golf tournaments – the Pine to Palm – is played at Detroit Lakes each August and attracts an excellent field of about 500 golfers. Qualifying rounds are medal play, with match play following in the championship, Senior Division, and numbered flights.

On the Pine to Palm side, a new clubhouse was completed in 1995 and offers golfers and the general public all the conveniences – from breakfast, lunch, fine dining to facilities for reunions and receptions. Locker rooms are also available for the golfer on the lower level.

Since 1931 the Pine to Palm Golf Tournament is held annually the second week of August with 450+ contestants in 5 Divisions (Championship; Mid Am; Seniors; Super Seniors and Numbered Flights.)
