2025 Detroit Lakes Trucks & Tunes invites you to join us for Trucks & Tunes and free live music and food trucks from June through August on Friday evening at Detroit Lakes City Park. Bands for each week’s performances TBA.

We’re pleased to announce that the band that will close the 2025 Detroit Lakes Trucks & Tunes season is The Six One Five Collective. Their music, in the spirit of the Highwaymen, Little Big Town, Old Dominion and Fleetwood Mac. They are a 3x Grammy-nominated, award-winning, all-American band rooted in the heart of Nashville. Their road show is an eclectic mix of original solo music, hit songs they’ve written for other artists, and high-energy covers that define the “Six One Five sound.” Their music feels like an open road, full of freedom, adventure, and hope.

For the Detroit Lakes Trucks and Tunes events, it’s a good idea to arrive around 5:00 PM. The food trucks typically start serving at this time, giving you plenty of time to grab some delicious food before the musical entertainment begins at 6:00 PM.

What you need to know about Detroit Lakes Trucks & Tunes:
• Bring a chair or blanket and join us for free live music and food trucks at the DL City Park.
• Emceed by the Broken String Guitar Club with bands starting at 6pm.
• In case of rain, bands will move to Bucks Mill Brewing (824 Washington Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN), and food trucks will move to Washington Avenue.

About The Six One Five Collective: They’ve toured around the world, opening for John Legend, India Arie, John Hiatt, Kenny Chesney, Jon Pardi, Old Dominion, and others. They’ve played the Grand Ole Opry stage, performed at C2C, and toured extensively overseas. Their songs have been written for household names like Kelly Clarkson, George Strait, Luke Bryan, Cole Swindell, Lee Brice, Marc Broussard, Sister Hazel, and several TV shows such as Nashville, Parenthood, and Virgin River.

Their Six One Five Collective–penned song “Kindness” was featured on Season 21 of American Idol. They just released their third song to country radio, titled Doozies. Whether playing a theatre, summer concert series, or festival stage, the Six One Five Collective delivers a harmony-driven experience that feels like coming home. They are currently on the We Live For These Nights tour through November and are coming to a city near you!

The Talent

SARAH DARLING: An American singer-songwriter drawing inspiration from the allure of freedom and beauty. She channels the spirit of 70’s California, with echoes from Laurel Canyon, narrating an American road trip story wrapped in Nostalgia and sunshine. Infused with a modern aura, her lyrics transport us to a golden era, sung with the warmth of honey vocals and unfiltered honesty.

AARON GOODVIN: On the heels of his first headline tour, “It’s the Ride,” Canadian country artist Aaron Goodvin is excited to be releasing new music. “Country Dance” released globally on July 7 and is the latest absolutely addictive song from the same team Aaron wrote with on “Lonely Drum;” the double-platinum, award-winning global juggernaut that spawned its own line dance and was featured on the nationally-syndicated Bobby Bones show.

NICOLE WITT: A nationally touring, award-winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for her soaring melodies and clever turns of phrase. As part of EMI Music Publishing, Curb Records, Capitol CMG, Dreamlined, and Wittsong Entertainment, she has written songs for artists such as George Strait, Lee Brice, Rodney Atkins, Aaron Goodvin, Meghan Patrick, Terri Clark, Lauren Alaina, Balsam Range, Mandisa, Ellie Holcomb, and many more.

MICHAEL LOGEN: A Grammy-Nominated, Platinum-Selling Singer/Songwriter whose songs have been recorded by artists like Kelly Clarkson, Mat Kearney, Jonny Lang, Will Hoge, Brandon Heath, Marc Broussard, Sister Hazel, Sam Palladio, The Greencards, Ashley Monroe and others.
