Arguably his best work\, Pilot Me debuted on the FOLK DJ radio charts at #8 for the month of August\, 2020. Remarkably\, all thirteen songs received airplay\, landing Dennis a coveted spot in the top 10 for Artist of the Month. \nWarner’s ninth CD\, Seeds\, also generated a lot of attention in the folk music community\, being named one of the best CDs of 2012 based on radio play around the world. FOLK DJ named him one of the top artists in all of folk music for 2012. Legendary Midnight Special radio host Rich Warren tipped his hat to Dennis by designating Seeds as his “CD Pick of the Week” on his nationally syndicated show. \nDennis is a two-time McKnight Foundation Artist Award winner and three-time finalist for the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival songwriting awards\, co-founded by Peter Yarrow of Peter\, Paul and Mary. Another accolade came with the invitation to perform in concert at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington\, D.C. for a series honoring the best of the unknown songwriters. \nDennis Warner Website | Dennis Warner Facebook Page \nRead More2018 was a big year for Dennis. Early that year\, he was invited to the RoundGlass Music Awards in New York City celebrating “Enlightened musicians from around the globe who create music to make the world a better place.” Later that year\, Dennis was honored to perform for the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Toronto\, where 7\,500 attendees representing 230 different faiths from around the planet gathered finding ways to coexist in our diverse world. \nNow in its Eighth Printing\, Warner‘s timely book Beads on One String evolved from one of his songs and led to the creation of the Beads on One String Project\, an elementary school curriculum used as a meaningful and fun way to teach kids about the negative effects of bullying and the positive effects of recognizing our “connectedness” with each other. In support of his book and the curriculum project\, Dennis is often a guest musician and speaker at schools\, libraries and Sunday morning gatherings. In 2015\, Dennis and his wife Tammy donated 250 copies of Beads on One String to Books for Africa\, where they were needed in Ghana to teach English to kids by using Dennis’ song and book. \nEarly in 2020\, Dennis was featured on the popular PBS TV show Backroads. Produced by Lakeland Public Broadcasting\, the sold out concert celebrated his original music and was syndicated throughout the PBS network. \nAlong with his original music\, Warner is widely admired for his moving interpretations of songs written by others. Audience favorites include Don’t Laugh at Me\, The Garden Song (Inch by Inch) and Homegrown Tomatoes. Many also know Dennis for his viral YouTube video I’m My Own Grandpa with over 859\,000 hits. \nMost importantly perhaps\, Warner is an outstanding entertainer. Ballads are cleverly blended with up-tempo songs\, audience participation and engaging humorous stories. A warm stage presence and ability to connect with his audience is the trademark of a Dennis Warner concert. \nThroughout his career\, Dennis has collaborated with many noted musicians\, including rock and roll legend Bobby Vee\, J.D. Steele\, Freebo\, James Lee Stanley\, Prudence Johnson\, Peter Ostroushko\, Paul Diethelm and George Maurer. \nThough he calls Minnesota home\, Warner loves to travel and tour\, either solo or with his band “the D’s”. On and off the stage\, Dennis is personable and good-humored. When not working on his music\, he can be found sailing\, eating ice cream or perhaps listening to a Minnesota Twins baseball game. On a good day\, he’s doing all three.Meet The D’s\nDAN NEALE – guitar\, mandolin and vocals: One of the most sought after musicians in the Midwest\, Dan Neale is well respected both on stage and in the studio. Among his many accolades\, he was also the regular fill-in guitarist for Pat Donohue on Garrison Keillor’s “Prairie Home Companion”. \nDENNIS (DK) KENNEDY – congas\, djembe\, cajon\, marimba\, harmonica\, shaker\, tambourine etc…: DK joined us in 1999 when I started recording the My World album. I needed someone to play harmonica on a couple of waltzes and my producer\, Jeff Vee\, said he had a brother-in-law who played really well. \nALEX D. MAIERS – bass and vocals: Alex joined our ensemble recently and we couldn’t be more pleased. He’s a well known guitar player in Minnesota with an outstanding stage presence. \nDERRICK RAITER – cajon\, djembe and congas: Formerly our full time percussionist until he moved overseas\, we welcome Derrick back whenever possible. His unique style has been very important in developing the DW sound that’s defined our albums and concerts. When that djembe kicks in\, everyone notices! \nPAT CURTO- vocals: Occassionaly\, we are blessed with Pat Curto joining us on backing vocals. Pat’s incredible career nationwide as a drummer and vocalist led to his induction into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame. We are most happy to make him an “honorary D” when he is available! \n\nBest Hotels in Detroit Lakes\, Minnesota\nThe Lodge on Lake Detroit & The Spa Within\nBest Western Premier The Lodge On Lake Detroit\, a Lifestyle Lakefront Minnesota Hotel\, offers a great location and numerous amenities that make us the premier lakefront lodging destination for Historic Holmes Theatre attendees. Jay Hershberger\, piano.\nAbout the Talent:\nExcelsior! Trio \nDue to their unique instrumentation\, Harris\, Hershberger and Peterson have excellent chemistry as an ensemble; they are incredibly talented at their instruments. It’s obvious from the start that they are great friends and have a lot of fun playing together. \nBecause the combination of flute\, saxophone and piano is a rather unusual instrument grouping\, there isn’t a lot of repertoire out there composed specifically for this ensemble. Luckily\, Peterson is also a composer\, so he has been writing music for the group. They first discovered how much they enjoyed collaborating back in 2009; all three musicians are on the music faculty at Concordia College-Moorhead\, and after performing a piece together that Peterson had composed at a recital\, they decided to form Excelsior! Since then they have performed all over the United States\, and even internationally in Italy and Scotland. Their repertoire is far more varied than just Peterson’s compositions\, featuring also his arrangements of classical composers like Debussy to jazz standards like Chick Corea’s Spain. Peterson himself draws compositional inspiration from a variety of areas. \nEvery member of the Trio knew they wanted to become musicians at a very young age. “Music chose me\,” said Harris succinctly\, whilst Hershberger was inspired as kindergartner attending his first orchestra concert with his dad. “There was no question for me while growing up\,” said Peterson\, adding that he “just needed to figure out how to get paid to play music.” \nSonja Bosca-Harasim\, Principal Violinist FMSO \n\nDr. Harasim is Assistant Professor of Violin and Viola at Concordia College in Moorhead\, MN\, where she is Co-Founder and Director of the Concordia String Preparatory Program and serves as String Area Coordinator. Additionally\, she maintains an active performing career locally\, nationally\, and internationally as a solo\, chamber\, and orchestral musician. Harasim currently serves as Concertmaster of the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony and collaborates frequently in chamber music projects with her colleagues and students. \nA native of Houston\, Texas\, Harasim began her violin studies at the age of 5 in the Suzuki program at Parker Elementary with Karen Somer\, Kathy Karpicke\, and Rosemary Jodeit and went on to study with Albert Muenzer while attending the critically acclaimed High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She completed her undergraduate studies with David Updegraff at the Cleveland Institute of Music and returned to her hometown to pursue her graduate studies with Kenneth Goldsmith and doctoral studies with Cho-Liang Lin at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music. Harasim plays a violin made in 2011 by Mario Miralles\, modeled after Mr. Lin’s “Titian” Stradivarius. Composer / Performer Chris Koza is an internationally-recognized Americana artist. Chris performs regularly as a solo artist and with his band\, Rogue Valley at many renowned Twin Cities’ venues (First Avenue\, The Fitzgerald Theater) and festivals (Basilica Block Party\, Minnesota State Fair\, Iceland Airwaves)\, and has toured the US\, sharing the stage with many well-known musicians. \nChris embraces classic Americana with a contemporary feel and utilizes a wide range of textures in creating music rooted in folk\, pop\, and storytelling. Subtle synthesizers\, rich harmonies and pop-music sensibilities interweave with acoustic and electric guitars\, earthy pianos\, and familiar rhythms. Despite late-night deep dives in the studio\, Chris never strays from the core of the song itself and isn’t afraid to strip the layering back to allow an emotional vocal and solo acoustic deliver the story. His song (Rogue Valley) The Wolves and the Ravens was featured in Ben Stiller’s film The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. \nThe music Chris produces is rooted in Americana but heeds its own spirit. They drop the needle on S&G’s last record as a duo. Complete with Strings and Horns\, it’s a true sonic representation of the original arrangements\, down to the last meticulous detail. \nBridge Over Troubled Water generates a unique set of feelings in us. The lyrics are so visual that taking the album down and placing it on the record player (the only real way to listen to BOTW) is like paging through a childhood photo album long lost. The record is simultaneously somber and joyous\, deep and light. It’s only now\, looking back across some 50 years that we get a sense of the placeholder in time that was BOTW. Released as it was in 1970\, BOTW truly served as a marker between the decades\, a nod to the ideals and folksy simplicity of the sixties mixed with the global complexities and inward thinking that was to dominate the decade to come. BOTW was a balm in a confusing time and remains so today. \nCall Hotel Direct at (218) 847-8439 or . . .\nBOOK HOTEL SPECIAL EVENT RATE ONLINEHolmes Theatre Tickets: $30 Adults & $15 Students\nRESERVE HOLMES THEATRE TICKETSAdditional Details\nHotel rate includes only your hotel accommodations\, event tickets sold directly online by the Historic Holmes Theatre. \nBest Western Rewards Points: Earn 10 Best Western Rewards® points per USD. \nAbout the Talent:\nCollective Unconscious \nFormed in the spring of the year 2000 to support lead singer/bass player Jeff Engholm’s first solo CD (Summit Climb)\, CU performed around central Minnesota as a jam band. A couple of years of Wednesday nights at the Red Carpet Nightclub in St. Cloud\, MN firmly established the band’s repertoire\, and musicianship\, and kept audiences dancing. \nDuring that time they recorded and released a couple of albums of their original material: Collective Unconscious\, and The Garden. \nA few years later they began performing the Beatles Abbey Road album in its entirety\, from Come Together all the way through Her Majesty (years before tribute bands were a thing). From there they expanded on to Simon & Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water album (with strings and brass)\, CSNY’s Deja Vu album\, The Band’s The Last Waltz (with a cavalcade of guest performers)\, and the epically grand album from The Beach Boys Pet Sounds (with a multitude of multi-instrumentalists playing over 30 different instruments). \nEventually\, CU joined up with powerhouse The Fabulous Armadillos to perform a show called Takin’ It To The Limit: An Eagles Tribute\, which has been entertaining sold-out houses across the midwest ever since. \nCollective Unconscious Website | Collective Unconscious Facebook Page \n\n\nBest Hotels in Detroit Lakes\, Minnesota\nThe Lodge on Lake Detroit & The Spa Within\nBest Western Premier The Lodge On Lake Detroit\, a Lifestyle Lakefront Minnesota Hotel\, offers a great location and numerous amenities that make us the premier lakefront lodging destination for Historic Holmes Theatre attendees. This show has Jim Croce’s era-defining standards like Operator\, Time in a Bottle\, and Bad\, Bad Leroy Brown. A.J. Croce is a multi-instrumentalist roots-rock artist\, known for his boogie-woogie piano playing reminiscent of Dr. John. His music incorporates pop\, blues\, folk\, and jazz\, and has charted on seven radio charts including Top 40. He’s shared the stage with many notable artists including James Brown\, Willie Nelson\, and Bela Fleck. \nCall Hotel Direct at (218) 847-8439 or . . .\nBOOK HOTEL SPECIAL EVENT RATE ONLINEHolmes Theatre Tickets: $30 Adults & $15 Students\nRESERVE HOLMES THEATRE TICKETSAdditional Details\nHotel rate includes only your hotel accommodations\, event tickets sold directly online by the Historic Holmes Theatre. \nBest Western Rewards Points: Earn 10 Best Western Rewards® points per USD. \nAbout the Talent:\nA.J. Croce \nOver the past three decades\, A.J. Croce has established his reputation as a piano player and serious vocal stylist who pulls from a host of musical traditions and anti-heroes — part New Orleans\, part juke joint\, part soul. Over his ten studio albums\, it’s clear that A.J. Croce holds an abiding love for all types of musical genres: Blues\, Soul\, Pop\, Jazz\, and Rock n’ Roll. A virtuosic piano player\, Croce toured with B.B. King and Ray Charles before reaching the age of 21\, and\, over his career\, he has performed with a wide range of musicians\, from Willie Nelson to the Neville Brothers; Béla Fleck to Ry Cooder. A.J. has also co-written songs with such formidable tunesmiths as Leon Russell\, Dan Penn\, Robert Earl Keen and multi-Grammy winner Gary Nicholson. His albums have all charted\, and done so on an impressive array of charts: Top 40\, Blues\, Americana\, Jazz\, College\, and Radio 1\, to name a few. The Nashville-based singer/songwriter also has landed 18 singles on a variety of Top 20 charts. While it’s clear A.J.’s recordings and shows span many aforementioned genres\, his tastes and extended influences reach even further to classical styles and world music styles from Latin Jazz to music of Africa\, Eastern Europe\, or India. \nA.J.’s deep love for music is understandable considering that his mother\, Ingrid\, was a singer/songwriter as was his father\, the late Jim Croce. His father died in a tragic plane crash just before his second birthday. A.J.\, who started playing piano at a young age\, purposely avoided his father’s music in order to establish his own identity as a musician. A.J.’s relationship with his father’s music began changing around a dozen years ago\, when he began digitalized his father’s tapes. One old cassette contained a bar performance of Jim Croce playing blues tunes that had influenced him. These were deep-cuts by folks like Mississippi John Hurt\, Blind Blake\, Brownie McGhee & Sonny Terry\, and A.J. was amazed since these songs were the ones that he had been playing since he was 12. \nAfter more than 25 years making his own musical mark\, he began performing some of his Dad’s songs live and forming a special show out of it. In the past couple years\, A.J. has begun periodically performing a “Croce Plays Croce” concert\, where he does Jim Croce songs\, his own tunes\, and songs that influenced the two of them. He loves seeing “the joy it brings audiences\,” as well as enjoying that he can keep the shows fresh and exciting because he has the flexibility to change up the set list each time out. \nA.J. Croce’s family musical legacy is just part of his very unique life story. Born outside of Philadelphia\, A.J. moved with his mother and father to San Diego just before he turned two. Around the age of four\, he went blind due to horrific physical abuse from his mother’s then-boyfriend. A.J. was hospitalized for half a year and was totally blind in both eyes for six years. It was during this time that he started playing piano\, inspired by blind pianists like Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder. Croce\, who regained sight in his left eye when he was ten\, went on to spend his early teen years performing\, including at his mother’s establishment\, Croce’s Jazz Bar. \nA.J. Croce Website | A.J. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby at the Historic Holmes Theatre\, 806 Summit Ave\, Detroit Lakes on March 12\, 2022. Aquila Theatre’s mission is to create bold reinterpretations of the classics for contemporary audiences. By expanding the canon and diversifying the classics\, Aquila dares to change perceptions. Aquila Theatre also provides extensive educational offerings and is an award winning leader in the field of public humanities programming. \nF. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby\, published in 1925\, remains a vivid account of how\, in the absence of true equality\, pursuing the “American dream” can lead to devastating effects. Despite late-night deep dives in the studio\, Chris never strays from the core of the song itself and isn’t afraid to strip the layering back to allow an emotional vocal and solo acoustic deliver the story. SUMMARY:Detroit Lakes Polar Fest Ice Palace at City Beach
DESCRIPTION:BOOK NOWCALL NOW\n2022 Detroit Lakes Polar Fest Ice Palace at City Beach\nDon’t miss the annual Detroit Lakes Polar Fest Ice Palace Lighting Ceremony on February 11\, 2022 at the Detroit Lakes City Beach at 7:00 p.m. The Polar Fest festivities begin with the lighting of King Isbit’s Throne\, Royal Courtyard and Polar Fest Ice Palace. The Ice Palace and other related activities will be open to the public through February 11-27\, 2022.  The typical 10-day event will be 17 days this year. Professional ice sculptures will be on display in the nearby Detroit Lakes City Park starting the following day as a part of the MN Sn’Ice competitions. The second part\, a snow sculpture competition for area high school students\, will be held later in the event (check schedule). \nA lot of planning and advance work go into creating this wonderland of ice. In January\, huge ice blocks are hand-harvested from Detroit Lake. Over the next month\, a volunteer crew will construct a Royal Palace fit for a “King Isbit”. Over the course of Polar Fest an Ice Palace evening light show and so much more will amaze and entertain. Come enjoy the snow and ice because it is so Sn’Ice! NOTE: Photo Credit (above): Jack Davis Photography \nEvent Location:\nDetroit Lakes City Beach\nCorner of Washington Avenue and West Lake Drive\nIce Harvest DL Face Book Page\nIce Harvest DL website\nPhone: 218-847-2938 | Email: info@iceharvestdl.org \n \nPhoto Credit: Jack Davis Photography\nFrom Idea to Reality: The Denison Polar Fest Ice Palace\nAn idea was sparked by Ken & Helen Foltz while visiting the 2017 St. Paul Winter Carnival where they toured the St. Paul’s Ice Palace. Problems occurred with early plans that looked likely to doom the project\, but after encouragement from local business owners and prospective sponsors\, the Ice Harvest DL Committee embraced optimism and altered those plans. With the support of the City of Detroit Lakes\, the foundation plans were moved to the DL City Beach. The DL City Park was made available for a Palatial Playground. The Pavilion was made available for a History Exhibit and warming house. New ideas and dreams began to sketch a new\, crazy\, bigger\, better plan! \nOn the morning of January 11th\, 2018\, the wind chill was just about -35* below zero. A dedicated group of local volunteers and a professional lake ice cutting company\, Wee Kut Ice\, began the first DL harvest. For the next three days\, they would work in the brutal cold from dawn to sunset. Due to the brutally cold weather\, the ice was around 22″ thick. Each block being harvested was about 22″ x 44″ x 25″. About 1\,300 blocks were harvested over three days\, weighing in at a total of over one million pounds of ice. Construction of the Ice Palace began on January 17th\, 2018. When the Palace was completed\, work began on smaller ice structures such as couches\, benches\, and even a bookcase with a lamp; all carved entirely out of lake ice. Other ice blocks were used to create a border fence around what became known as the Palatial Playground. Ice was even used to build giant bonfire pillars! \nThe Grand Lighting took place on February 7th\, 2018 as a kickoff event for Polar Fest. On February 18th\, 2018\, the Ice Palace was demolished. The clear\, clean lake ice was absorbing the light of the sun every day and puddles were forming in the streets of Detroit Lakes. As a safety precaution\, the Palace had to come down. The Ice Harvest DL Committee met again the next week and began to ask\, “What’s next?” and has done that since. Be there for the lighting ceremony and get the answer to that question! \nVolunteer to Help\nThere’s a lot of work that goes into the harvest\, construction and demolition after Polar Fest ends – and that doesn’t include the “Palace Volunteers” needed during Polar Fest! See the Ice Harvest DL Committee Website or Face Book Page for more information\, online forms\, etc. \nAbout Polar Fest\nPolar Fest is held annually in mid-February with the plunge and fireworks on the Saturday night of President’s Day weekend. Polar Fest was started in 1996 by Erika Johnson\, previous owner of Lakeside Tavern. She loved winter and wanted to see some sort of celebration of winter by the lake and outside her restaurant. Coincidentally\, at the same time\, Ron Zeman\, former board member for Develop DL\, heard about people jumping into a hole in the lake to raise money for an organization. He took that idea to the Boys & Girls Club and the “Polar Fest Plunge” was born. Polar Fest continued until 2002 when lack of support left Polar Fest with only its key event — the Polar Plunge\, but no other activities. In 2005\, a group of crazy\, winter-loving citizens came together to reinvigorate and warm up Polar Fest. Since then\, Polar Fest has continued with the pinnacle event being the Polar Fest Plunge into Little Detroit Lake plus many other activities ranging from golfing on the lake to presentations by polar explorers to dances in the sand. In 2008\, fireworks on the last Saturday evening were added and that has become one of the highlights of the week-long winter celebration. \nMark your calendar today so you don’t miss the next Detroit Lakes Polar Fest Ice Courtyard in Detroit Lakes\, Minnesota in February! \nTags: Polar Fest Ice Courtyard\, Detroit Lakes Polar Fest Ice Courtyard\, MN Sn’Ice Snow and Ice Showcase\, King Isbit’s Minnesota Sn’Ice Playground\, Detroit Lakes Polar Fest\, Detroit Lakes Winter Activities \n\nBest Polar Fest Hotels in Detroit Lakes\, Minnesota\nThe Lodge on Lake Detroit & The Spa Within\nThe only way to improve Polar Fest is staying in one of the best Polar Fest Hotels in Detroit Lakes. I think about The Gap Band\, of course\, Prince\, all the funk and the soul.” \nInspired by her mother’s love of music\, she started singing\, performing at local joints. “After my mother passed away\, the thing that really stood out to me was to do something that you like before you leave this life.” Although never intending it to be a career\, it quickly became one. Working her way through the Midwest bar scene\, Mack built a reputation as a powerhouse blues singer getting national recognition at some of North America’s top festivals\, including The John Coltraine Jazz Festival\, Thunder Bay Music Festival\, Twin Cities Jazz Festival and the Bayfront Blues Festival for 6 years running. In addition to playing some of the top blues and jazz clubs like Buddy Guy’s Legends (Chicago) and The Dakota (Minneapolis)\, Mack has recently garnered the attention of indie rock tastemakers like The Current \, landing her gigs at prestigious performing arts centers and rock venues like First Avenue –the iconic club where Prince filmed Purple Rain. She has shared the bill with such wide-ranging artists as Dessa (hip hop)\, Ondara (folk)\, Cloud Cult (indie rock) and blues legend Robert Cray. She is featured in the book 50 Women in the Blues\, alongside Bessie Smith\, Bonnie Raitt\, Mavis Staples\, Sister Rosetta Tharpe\, Ruthie Foster and Janis Joplin. \nIn 2013\, Mack released her debut album Baptized in the Blues \, which put her on the blues map and established her as a powerhouse performer and singer. After keeping up a rigorous touring schedule\, she took time off to record her 2017 EP Tell It Like It Is –a more personal collection of songs about recovery and healing that showcased her serious songwriting chops. Now\, with the release of her new recording Testify (2021) she solidifies her position as a top-tier singer\, songwriter and producer who has found her musical home\, performing her own unique blend of blues\, country\, rock and soul. The release finds her confident and comfortable\, owning her place as a rising star in the roots music scene. \nWhen not busy making music or rearing her three children\, Annie Mack works as a death doula\, accompanying people who are dying and supporting their families. \nAnnie Mack Website | Annie Mack Facebook Page \n\n\nBest Hotels in Detroit Lakes\, Minnesota\nThe Lodge on Lake Detroit & The Spa Within\nBest Western Premier The Lodge On Lake Detroit\, a Lifestyle Lakefront Minnesota Hotel\, offers a great location and numerous amenities that make us the premier lakefront lodging destination for Historic Holmes Theatre attendees. \nCollective Unconscious Website | Collective Unconscious Facebook Page \n\nThe Fabulous Armadillos \nOriginally formed to perform multi-instrumentalist Jeff Engholm’s solo album\, Summit Climb in the year 2000\, Collective Unconscious has grown from those humble roots to become one of Minnesota’s premiere groups. Singer/songwriters Nathan “Nature” Nesje\, and Muggsy Lauer make up the core of the group with their slick\, well blended vocal harmonies. They are joined by composer/keyboardist George Maurer. \nThrough the years\, the band has performed not only their own music\, but expanded into a new genre: album shows. Starting in 2005 with performing The Beatles “Abbey Road” from first track to last (Come Together to Her Majesty)\, with special guest and semi-band member\, Stacy Bauer\, they jumped into one of their most ambitious projects\, The Beach Boys “Pet Sounds”. That album took an ensemble of over 15 musicians playing an astounding array of instruments from Theramin to timpani\, and included The Vees and The Half Steps. Other album projects have included Simon & Garfunkel “Bridge Over Troubled Water”\, Crosby\, Stills\, Nash & Young “Deja Vu”\, and The Band “The Last Waltz”. \nIf that wasn’t enough\, the group teamed up with The Fabulous Armadillos in 2010 to create a veritable “super group” and have been performing “Takin’ It To The Limit: A Tribute To Eagles”\, and “Takin’ It To The Streets: A Tribute To The Doobie Brothers” ever since. And if even that wasn’t enough\, members of Collective Unconscious have taken part in groups paying tribute to Zed Zeppelin\, Pink Floyd\, Paul McCartney and Wings\, The Guess Who\, The Traveling Wilburys\, George Harrison\, The Blues Brothers\, and John Lennon\, as well as performing in plays\, pit bands\, jazz ensembles\, jug bands\, and this thing we do each February. \nThe Fabulous Armadillos Website | The Fabulous Armadillos Facebook Page \n\n\nBest Hotels in Detroit Lakes\, Minnesota\nThe Lodge on Lake Detroit & The Spa Within\nBest Western Premier The Lodge On Lake Detroit\, a Lifestyle Lakefront Minnesota Hotel\, offers a great location and numerous amenities that make us the premier lakefront lodging destination for Historic Holmes Theatre attendees.
