They would like to add original songs to their play set which would allow them to step up their festival play with bigger venues. The band performs regularly at the Eagles Club in Grand Rapids\, which offers a large dance area to swing\, dip and move to the magic of the band’s mix of songs. Adessa & The Beat have ascended in leaps and bounds the past couple of years – so busy they have signed with booking agent Sabrina Olson from Studio 35 Music in Anoka. It is the big sound to follow. \nAdessa Cournoyer\, at age 29\, is the youngest of the pack\, the powerful lead vocalist\, known for her wide brimmed hats and smashing stage fashion\, she is every bit a mix of Crystal Gayle\, Stevie Nicks\, and Joni Mitchell.
